Ibanez SGT122NT 12-String Sage Series Acoustic Guitar Review :: Acoustic Guitars Reviews

New for 2007!

Ibanez’s newest acoustic series, the SGT or Sage Traditional, is another breakthrough by Ibanez in offering more high-end features at more affordable prices. Originally inspired by the impressive selection and quality of Ibanez’s “1st Golden Age of Acoustics” of the mid-‘70s and very early ‘80s, the Ibanez SGT122NT 12-String Sage Series Acoustic Guitar features dreadnought body. Beautiful sunburst finishes and natural high gloss finishes combined with large classic pickguards contribute to the SGT’s understated vintage styling. The shape of the headstock, body, pickguard and bridge recall a time when things were just a bit more ornate, and pride in craftsmanship was much easier to find. In appearance, sound, and playability, the SGT sets a new benchmark in entry-level guitars.
There’s something almost magical about the sound of a 12-string. There’s nothing quite like the natural chorus sound. The dreadnought body shape of Ibanez SGT122NT 12-String Acoustic Guitar is particularly well-suited for making yourself heard in a group, but the tones are certainly sweet enough for it to stand on it’s own.
