Gibson Les Paul Studio Plus Guitar Review :: Electric Guitars Reviews
stunning looks and great value

This new model packs all the flavors of the Les Paul Studio, but has a carved AA figured maple unbound top for both stunning looks and great value, so it’s everything you’ve ever wanted from an LP, plus figured maple. The Gibson Les Paul Studio Plus Electric Guitar is a beauty with beautiful sound. In 1983, Gibson came out with the LP Studio, featuring the same carved-top craftsmanship and world-famous LP tone, but slightly simplified to make these musical instruments more affordable. Now a lot of players prefer its cleaner visual appeal. The LP Studio Plus enhances this appeal with a figured AA carved maple top set off by gold hardware. 490R and 498T alnico magnet humbucker pickups crank out the tone you crave while the 22-fret rosewood on mahogany neck plays fast yet feels solid and substantial. Pearloid trapezoid inlays complete its visual elegance. Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece.
