Based on the style and construction of a Les Paul Standard, Gibson’s Les Paul Standard Bass features a carved maple top and chambered mahogany body for lightweight comfort and perfect balance. The ebony fingerboard gives you all of the snap you’ll need to cut through even the heaviest wall of sound and the hot TB Plus pickups provide expanded lows, crisp highs and distinctive mid-range you won’t find in any other bass pickup. A deep, rich lacquer finish brings the traditional, translucent sunburst colors to life.
