Gibson Herb Ellis ES-165 Guitar Review :: Electric Guitars Reviews
enjoy the best value you’ll find anywhere for high-end jazz tone and premium playability
The ES-165 Herb Ellis is a classic jazz guitar based on Herb’s own Gibson ES-175. A single humbucker produces a warm jazz tone, and gold-plated metal parts impart a classy look.
Sound. The BJB floating pickup produces warm, round, and articulate tone for peerless jazz flavor. Single volume knob on the pickguard keeps it simple and keeps the top wood pristine for amazing resonance.
