thanks for your reviews, and specs, on the Deluxe Powerhouse Stratocaster. I bought one brand new in 2005; chrome red(new color that year),rosewood fretboard. I just recently bought same model, made 2002, in candy apple red.
the body was said to be poplar. I’m guessing Fender used the wood available in those model years(sometimes alder).
Question for me is: in what facility was the neck and body made?
rumor in 2005 was, that they were made in USA, then shipped to MX for paint, finish, and assembly.
